It does tighten up a bit with two or 3 rounds in it but I had been concerned about how unfastened it feels. The gun I bought was the only 1 obtainable so I could not compare it to every other Kimbers.I've a mint, really good Sako wood/blue 338 WM carbine (like NIB) that may be an absolute tack driver. It is among the most accurate rifle I've ever o
